You misinterpreted what I said. When I said "now it’s already assumed that everyone knows what it means and is on board with the concept," I was complaining about the fact that people assume that everyone knows what it means. As is obvious throughout the article, I don't like the term thirst trap, so I wish it weren't assumed that everyone is on board with the concept.
