Wait a minute, women in their "30s and 40s" don't qualify as "older women." That notion itself perfectly encapsulates the problem. And you also specified that that's the case for the "attractive" ones, when only a minority of women in that age group are even considered attractive, which is precisely my point in the article. "Attractive" people in any demographic are going to get more messages.
