So you're basing that conclusion only on your personal anecdotal evidence? Yeah, that's perfectly rational...I cited tons of evidence that landlords (especially in impoverished communities) are exploitative. They're exploitative on a systemic level, just like cops. That doesn't mean every individual renter will feel exploited. It's easy to say you don't feel exploited when you're privileged enough to not be poor or homeless like millions of people.
